The piano.

In a long forgotten hall an old man sat at a piano, but this hall was not forgotten by this man because this hall is where he meet his true love, his wife. He was dancing alone one time, as he saw a little old lady sitting by herself, so he went over to her and asked her to dance, she said yes and ever since they were together.

They got married and they were as happy as ever. Sadly in july 31st she past away and the man was lonely from then on. He was sad and the only viester he ever had was his grandson and the nurse.

On the piano the man played the only song song his wife knew how to play. This song Was very special to him. This song brings back so many memories of his past one is of his wife. as he played alone all of a sudden a hand took over from one of his hands, as they took each others hands he were happy because he new his wife was around, as they played she kissed him on the cheek and dissipated, but not in his heart.

The next thing he was of to the next memory of his past.

        Barking, hunting, sleeping.
chasing sheep everywhere on the farm. 
                     Energetic.

The Blitz

The Blitz was in would war 2, Adolf Hitler got other men to perform many bombings on London and many other cities to destroy the place.
 It wasn't to kill soldiers, it was to kill civilians. It happened in September, in 1940.

TALE OF A TAIL

A fiction story for young adults

This story is about A boy call Tom who moved into Prodigy Street and the next day a man called Mr Mirabilis and Najki the dog moved in next door.  Tom had amazing adventures with Najki .  Tom found out that Najki had a magic tail that granted everyones wishes.   About a month after Najki and Mr Mirabilis moved away to live with his sister and Tom was very upset to see Najki  leaving.  Tom would visit him because they had good times.

Every piece of the book makes you want to keep reading, its adventurous, funny, interesting and not boring.  It has a clear beginning, middle and end. It has some drawings on some pages to go with the story.

The only thing I thought was wrong with this book is it was not long enough and I wanted to keep reading about the adventures and the friendship between the boy Tom and the dog Najki.

You can tell Margaret Mahy is a New Zealand author because there was rugby in the story.   Margaret Mahy was a famous New Zealand author who won lots of prizes and awards for her books. Her stories were written for young adults and children. She grew up in Christchurch, this book reminded her about her childhood. This was her last book before she died in 2012.

A Polish man wanted to have a book written about his dog and their friendship so he went around the world looking for an author and he found one in Christchurch, New Zealand, this was Margaret Mahy.   He was a wealthy man and paid her money to write this book.  His dog was called Naykee and in the book the dog is Najki.

Margaret Mahy wrote this book and a few months later she died in 2012 and the dog in real life died in 2012 as well.

I think that while Margaret Mahy was writing this story she was thinking that nothing is forever because Nijki moved in next door and moved away again.  

I really enjoyed this book and I recommend others to read it too.  I would recommend this book for 9 – 13 year olds and people that like adventures and interesting books.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela loved Africa because he thought it was a beautiful country.

He believed that apartheid needed to stop and he made it happen.

Nelson Mandela stood up for his country because he thought it was not fair that the black people didn't get as much as the white people. He went to jail for what he believed in, but it stopped. When he came out of jail he became the first black president of south Africa.
